Huge New Store in Ann Arbor Has 8,000 Wines, 3,000 Beers, and 3,000 Spirits
Total Wine & More just opened up a brand new store in Ann Arbor last week. This is the second location to open in Michigan, with more coming soon.
Total Wine & More is a large, family-owned, privately held American alcohol retailer founded and led by brothers David Trone and Robert Trone. They have 221 stores nationwide with an alcohol selection that will blow your mind.
I have never been to a Total Wine & More store but I think it's safe to say, they have just about everything you'd ever need from an alcohol retailer. It's all about having options which they have plenty of. They have 8,000 wines, 3,000 beers and 3,000 spirits at all times in their store.
Not only do they have the more well-known products but they also carry local brands from makers right here in Michigan.
Jeff Bernard, Total Wine regional vice president:
One of the things we like to do is highlight the partnership we’ve made with local distilleries. There’s great, great local products here.
According to MLive, they also carry single craft beers, canned cocktails, cordials and flavored tequilas, as well as international options like sake, soju, Canadian whisky and wines from Portugal, Germany and Spain.
They also host classes to educate the customers on their products and teach about the process of making wine and spirits.
Do they have more stores coming to Michigan?
As of right now, there are only two Total Wine & More stores in Michigan including Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids however they are planning on opening two more locations in the state next month. Additional stores in Novi and Sterling Heights are set to open on November 18.
If only we could have something like this in the Flint area.
Total Wine & More is located at 3140 Lohr Road in Ann Arbor.
