NFL Player Suspended Over Violent Helmet Attack [VIDEO]
As we all know Football is a rough sport and sometimes it can be violent. What happened last night is just inexcusable.
With the Clevland Browns beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-7 and only eight seconds left in the game Defensive End and former number one overall draft pick for the Browns Myles Garrett did something that has never happened before in the NFL.
After being taken to the ground by a few Steelers players Garrett ripped off the helmet of Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and used it as a weapon hitting the quarterback in the head. After the attack teammates came to the defense of Rudolph and a massive fight broke out.
After the may lay and things were calmed down Garrett was ejected and today was suspended for the rest of the regular season and playoffs if the Browns make it that far. I would also imagine that he will have to pay a hefty fine. As a former player and fan things can get intense while playing any sport at a very competitive level but this is just too far in my mind.
