One of the Nation’s Best Lasagnas is Right Here in Michigan

Carbs, proteins, vegetables, dairy... lasagna is the perfect mixture of all of the important food groups and it's darn good.

According to National Geographic, the United States is home to about 800,000 restaurants. Of those 800,000, about 100,000 of them serve Italian food. Which means when it comes to lasagna, there's a whole lot of competition.

Luckily for us Michiganders, one of the best lasagnas in the entire nation is right here in the state.

Finding the United States' Best Lasagna

With so many lasagnas to try, how in the world do you find the best? Well, Yelp went ahead and did all of the methodology and research for us and found the United States' top 20 lasagnas.

Yelp went through all the places listed under the lasagna category and ranked them based on things like the number of reviews and their ratings. Oh, and to keep things diverse, they only included two places per state. And don't worry, all these spots were open on Yelp as of April 24, 2024, and they've got a passing health score too, so you can go visit safely.

Best Lasagna Results

The best lasagna in the states can be found all the way out in Coral Gables, Florida at a restaurant called Fratellino.

Now we'll get to the good stuff, and a restaurant much closer. The Michigan restaurant with the lasagna recipe ranking in Yelp's top 20 is found at Eataliana Homemade Pasta in Shelby Township. They were placed at No. 13 on the list.
