Police Looking for Missing Elderly Man with Dementia, Last Seen in Bay City
Police have issued an endangered missing advisory for an 88-year-old man with dementia that was last seen at Walmart in Bay City. They're looking to the public to help find the man who's been missing since Tuesday.
According to MLive, George P. Silvertson was last seen on Tuesday, May 11, in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter at 3921 Wilder Road in Bangor Township.
Apparently, Silvertson was outside Walmart while his wife was shopping inside. At some point, he took off in their car. The Bay Couny man has dementia and is not supposed to be behind the wheel of a car.
Vehicle description
Silvertson drove off in their silver Toyota Camry with a Michigan handicap license plate of 3174G3.
Police also report that it's possible that he may have been in Gladwin County too.
Description of missing man
Silvertson was last seen wearing a blue jacket, gray t-shirt, suspenders, and blue jeans. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 194 pounds. He has gray hair and his eyes are hazel.
