Everyone knows the National Anthem is played before every sporting event from high school to the pros. But could you sing it in front of a crowd at the start of one of those games?

The United Shore Professional Baseball League is holding open auditions for those who think they could sing the National Anthem for the upcoming 2019 season. Games are played at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica (Metro Detroit) and the season runs from early May until September. Open auditions will be held on April 25th & 26th from 4-7pm at the Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township.

Each singer has 90 seconds to belt out the Star-Spangled Banner in front of representatives of the league and many other community officials. Those judges will choose a handful of people to sing the Anthem on field before the games this season. So if you have what it takes,  sign your name up here and good luck. I'm sure most of you would be better than some celebrities who've tried.
