If you’ve driven down Center Road lately, you’ve probably noticed Red Baron is looking…well, naked. The entire front of the building has been stripped down to the blocks, and it looks like a full exterior makeover is officially underway.

But don’t freak out, they’re not going anywhere. They’re just getting a serious outside makeover.

Red Baron has been part of Burton for over 50 years, and honestly, it’s looked the exact same as long as I can remember. So it's understandable that some people might freak out a little when they see work being done. When a place has been around this long and suddenly turns into what basically looks like a blank concrete bunker, your brain automatically goes, “Wait… are they closing?”

Red Baron is the kind of spot where regulars have been showing up forever, and the vibe never really changes. And honestly, that’s a good thing. I swear I’ve walked in there and seen someone sitting at the bar who was there 20 years ago. It’s that kind of place.

Right now, the entire front of the building is stripped down to bare block, and a crew is working hard to bring it back to life. It basically looks like a full-blown construction zone at the moment. It’s pretty clear this isn’t just a quick paint job. They’re rebuilding the whole front of the place, and once it’s done, it should give Red Baron a much cleaner, more updated look.

There’s no official timeline posted yet, but the work is already moving fast. Inside, it's business as usual, so if you’re craving Red Baron (I’m always going straight for the wings), you’re still good to go.
