Roseville Man Ticketed For Warming Up Car Loses Court Case
This one still blows me away. Nick Taylor, of Roseville, received a ticket in January for leaving his car running in the driveway. The $125 ticket was given to Taylor as it's against the law to leave a running vehicle with no one behind wheel.
Taylor was in court on Thursday to fight the ticket and lost the case. The law is in place for the safety of the public's interest. Leaving the car running and unattended means that it could have easily stolen.
Judge Marco Santia upheld the ruling and Taylor is not ordered to pay the fine.
