Rough Roads Ahead if You’re Going to DTE This Summer
If you're planning on going to see Slayer this Sunday at DTE, plan on slow moving traffic. Hell, if you're planning on going to DTE anytime this summer, prepare yourself for what is expected to be a freakin' nightmare.
According to The Detroit Free Press, things will be slow moving due to all the construction between 13 Mile Road and Coolidge as well as the repair of 21 bridges between South Boulevard and Baldwin Road. That construction alone will cause major issues not to mention the construction on Sashabaw which is being widened from three lanes to five.
We all know this is much-needed work but that doesn't help the fact that it's going to be an absolute pain in the ass getting in and out of DTE all summer long. It's highly suggested you give yourself plenty of time and try to get to the venue early.
If you're going to Slayer on Sunday, the parking lot will open at 1:30 pm.
