The largest aquarium in Michigan is offering free admission to grocery store workers.

Grocery store employees throughout Michigan can now enjoy a little bit of fun for free on their off days. SEA LIFE Aquarium inside of Great Lakes Crossing is running a special and allowing free admission to grocery store workers across the state. All you have to do is show your employee ID at the door and you will get in free.

Not only will grocery store employees get free admission, but they are also eligible for additional discounts during their visit when it comes to guests. Every grocery store worker can get additional $12 admission tickets (50% off) for up to four guests that come with them. Tickets are limited and also must be purchased online in advance so plan ahead.

Grocery Store Heroes Appreciation Days begin on Tuesday, January 19th, and will continue through Friday, February 26th. Keep in mind that the deal is only good Mondays through Fridays and also excludes President's Day on Monday, February 15th. According to SEA LIFE Aquarium, Grocery Store Heroes include cashiers, baggers, customer service associates, administrative staff, and grocery delivery drivers.

SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium is located at Entry 7 of Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills. The Aquarium boasts 10 underwater exhibits and over 250 species including sharks, stingrays, rescued green sea turtles, and more.

When planning your visit, keep in mind that anyone five-years-old and older is required to wear a face-covering at all times.

Honestly, I totally forgot about this place until now. My kid and I have been looking for more things to do and this just jumped up on the list.
