Shiawassee County Jail Inmate Found Dead In Cell

Investigators are now looking into the death of an inmate yesterday. On Tuesday around 8:38 a.m. authorities found the inmate in her cell and she was not breathing and unresponsive. 

Guards immediately perform CPR and called for an ambulance. Unfortunately, all efforts to revive 32-year-old Sara Ann Yerian were unsuccessful.

An autopsy is scheduled and the event is still under investigation.
