State of Michigan to Help You Quit Smoking with Free Patches and Gum
I know just as well as any how bad smoking is for you and how hard it is to quit. Now, the State of Michigan is trying to help you along with quitting.
From now through September 30th, residents in Michigan will receive help in their battle to quit smoking. Free nicotine patches, gum, and lozenges will be available for free from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. You can now get up to eight weeks of the nicotine patches, gum, and more simply by calling a help hotline. The Michigan Tobacco Quitline is 800-QUIT-NOW or 800-784-8669 and is operational 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
I have been a smoker for a very long time and if you are too, you know how hard it is to quit. The bad habits I formed from when I was a teenager have followed me all through my life when it comes to smoking.
If you are trying to quit, take advantage of this program and good luck!!!
