Good news for those that have a little bit of a heavy foot. Around 1,500 miles of Michigan highways will see an increase in speed limits in May. Michigan Department of Transportation workers will be posting the new signs starting May 1st.
Michigan lawmakers can’t drive fifty-five, so, for the third time, they are working to increase the speed limit to 80 mph along stretches of some highways.
They can’t drive 55… Michigan lawmakers are attempting once again to pass a measure to increase the speed limit on some roads. According to a report from CBS Detroit, a proposal was introduced earlier this week aimed at increasing the speed limit to 80mph along specific Michigan expressways in an effort to bring to life a concept known as rural freeways.
