The First Week of Fall is Going to Feel Like The First Week of Summer
This past weekend was the last weekend of the summer and aside from chilly mornings, it was a gorgeous weekend. If you thought the weekend was nice, just wait until you see what's in store for us this week.
Today is the last day of the summer but it will actually be the coolest (71 degrees) day of the week. You can expect lots of sunshine with temps in the mid to upper 70s and it's possible we might even see a couple of days where we dip into the 80s again. If we're really lucky, those 70 temps could roll over into the weekend.
This will be the perfect time to finish any projects that you were hoping to get done before winter hits. I've been trying to finish painting the trim on my house and it looks like this week will be my last opportunity to do so.
It's also going to be a good week to bring in your lawn furniture. I procrastinated doing that last year and after the first snowstorm, I was outside wiping snow off the grill and furniture and trying to pack it up and put it all away. I should have waited another day because the snow melted the very next day.
I'm sure as painful as it will be, it wouldn't be a bad time to pull your boat in for the season unless you're someone who doesn't mind doing it in the cold.
Get outside this week and enjoy what will more than likely be one of our last beautiful weeks/weekends.
