With Burgers n' Brews taking place this Friday in downtown Flint, I thought it would be a good time to talk about the world's first burger-making robot.

This September a new restaurant will open up in San Francisco California which will have a robot cook who will prepare a $6 burger in just five minutes. According to Newsweek, it will take 20 computers, 350 sensors, and 50 actuator mechanisms to create a burger of your liking.

It's awesome and kind of scary at the same time. It's awesome because it's a freaking robot making a burger. I mean that's something straight out of a sci-fi movie. The scary part is how it will affect those that work in that particular industry.

I don't think we're in any danger here in Flint for awhile anyway. I don't see robots taking over our restaurants in the immediate future...but one day, it's going to happen.
