Crazy Video Shows a Man Shooting Up a Home in Detroit With an Assault Rifle
A video went viral this week of a man shooting at a home on Detroit's west side. The video is wild to say the least.
A man with an assault rife ran up to a home on Thursday and started firing the weapon.
The guy pulled up and fired at the house not once but twice in the same day.
According to WDIV, the first shooting happened around 11:15 a.m. and then he returned later that afternoon around 2:30 p.m.
The second time he showed up, things got even crazier. The man is seen in the video running and dancing around street with rifle in hand. This time around the man in the house fired back but ended up getting shot in the finger.
The shooter then stole a car that belonged to a former police officer.
Police eventually caught up to the shooter and arrested him.
Detroit Police Assistant Chief Charles Fitzgerald:
The suspect we took into custody last night is a neighbor with our retired police officer, so we have that car with our suspect, and we’re still looking for our former officer.
They have no idea why this guy shot at the same house twice in one day.
It’s scary, this is an individual just terrorizing a neighborhood, and I can tell you right now we have no idea why.
At the time WDIV reported this story, they were still looking for the retired police officer. It was unclear if he was somehow involved.
This is seriously one of the craziest videos I've ever watched. It's really freaky watching that guy dancing around the street like he was with that rifle in hand.
