Summer in Michigan leads to endless entertainment possibilities.

Now that summer is pretty much in full swing and restaurants, businesses, and venues are set to go back to 100% capacity on Tuesday, I think we all need and want to take advantage of the summer days ahead. With that said, what are some of your favorite summer games to play or hobbies to partake in.

Some of my favorites include cornhole and frisbeer when it comes to yard games. I also like to spend as much time as possible camping or on the golf course. Any other year, I would find a project to work on or build. However, seeing as how a 2x4 costs $8,000 right now, I might slow down on the projects.

This year I want to find some new games to try and new hobbies to take up. I dabbled a little in magnet fishing last year and might pick that back up. A friend of mine has a good time finding weird things with the use of his metal detector, which might be fun.

A few weeks ago, Maggie spent some time playing badminton, which I haven't played in probably 20 years. Badminton and Pickleball might end up on my list for the summer as well.

What I want to know is what you do to enjoy the summer in Michigan. Do you travel? Are there more yard games that I am unaware of? Let me know because I want to try it all this summer. My friends and I have already deemed this summer the 'Summer of Adventure" and we are ready to do strange things with weird people.
