Why Did Flint’s Raincheck Lounge Close? — Banana 101.5 Action News [VIDEO]

When we learned that one of our favorite bars in town, Flint's Raincheck Lounge, went out of business last week -- we were shocked. When our search for answers produced none, we went out in search of the truth.

The Raincheck Lounge has been a part of Flint since 1966 and was a pretty awesome place to hang out. We joke around a lot in the video, but we are seriously going to miss getting hammered there.

UPDATE 1.18.19: The last remaining vestige of the Raincheck Lounge -- the sign -- was taken down earlier this week. The site is being cleared to make way for a new medical marijuana facility. It's sad, but 48 years in business is nothing to shake a stick at. The place had a good run and hosted lots of good times.
