You'll never look at professional arm wrestling the same again after we take you inside the World Armwrestling League's championship qualifying event in Flint.

If you grew up in the 1980s, chances are pretty good that you watched way too many Sylvester Stallone movies. Among that rich catalog of work, one film shines just a little bit brighter than the rest -- 1987's 'Over the Top.' Stallone plays a truck driver trying to reconnect with his estranged son and win an arm wrestling tournament. Ever since then, it's been my dream compete in the toughest American sport. So, obviously I jumped at the chance to battle the pros when I heard the World Armwrestling League's 100-city qualifier was coming to Flint.

Despite a complete lack of training for the event, I was under the impression that if I came in with the right strategy I could do some real damage. Unfortunately for me, that turned out to be true. I did get to meet a lot of interesting people in the process though.
