Many of you remember the recent Lapeer Karaoke Star Contest at Flanagan's Pub - this is different. This particular contest is just one night only - this Saturday, April 9th at 8:00 PM. Bonus - all singers will receive a free appetizer courtesy of Flanagan's Pub.

If you do have a great voice - why wouldn't you enter this contest? $200 is a great payout for just a few minutes of work (if you call singing a song work). Did I mention that the second place singer scores $50 and there is no entry fee?

Flanagan's Pub has something for everyone this week, including open karaoke on Wednesday night, with your host Dave Lagness. Friday night Dave also gets your boots kicking on the dance floor. Heads up musicians, on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month, the band Stimulant hosts an open mic night. You are welcome to bring your instrument and amp (or plug into theirs) and show off your skills.

Another exciting event upcoming at Flanagan's Pub is the Drag Show with JonBenet and Friends on Saturday, April 30th. JonBenet puts on one of the best drag shows in the state and this show is always one of Flanagan's most popular nights. Tickets range from $5 to $15 and can be purchased here.
