Earlier this month a Novi police officer was dragged by a vehicle during a traffic stop. The driver has been identified and charged with one count of resist and obstruct, one count of flee and elude 4th degree, driving while license suspended and reckless driving.

Chantell Sturdivan, 26, of Detroit asked the police officer to use her cell phone when she learned she was being arrested. Instead of making a call, she took of and dragged the officer. Luckily he suffered only minor injuries. As for Sturdivan, her bond is set at $500,000.
