Most of us did not know her name, it was Terrie Hall. But I am guessing you saw the anti-smoking commercials she was featured in. Hall had oral throat cancer after many years of smoking. Over the summer cancer had spread to her brain.

I am a smoker. I have seen the commercials Terrie was featured in. To be honest, after watching it once, I would turn the channel because it was so hard to watch. Sometimes the truth hurts. Terrie Hall was only 53 years old.
