Ziggy’s Ice Cream Of Grand Blanc Will Open For 2026 Season

Do you like surprises? This is a great one.

In September 2025, Ziggy’s Ice Cream Shop on South Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc announced the popular spot would not be opening for the 2026 season.

If you were bummed, trust me - you were not alone. In March, rumors were flying on social media that the spot would be opening. It was tough for people not to get their hopes up.

Fast forward to today, Thursday, April 16, 2025, Ziggy’s Ice Cream has announced that it will be opening after all. But wait, it just keeps getting better.

Ziggy's will officially open for the 2026 season tomorrow, Friday, April 17th. How cool is that? What a way to kick off the weekend.

In case you missed it, Ziggy’s Ice Cream of Grand Blanc will eventually have a new home in the LaPiazza project, which is expected to break ground in September.

The development is planned to include both residential units and retail space, creating a mixed-use destination for the Grand Blanc area.

Ziggy's Ice Cream is currently at 11304 South Saginaw Street. Hours are as follows,

• Monday: Noon to 9:00 PM
• Tuesday: Noon to 9:00 PM
• Wednesday: Noon to 9:00 PM
• Thursday: Noon to 9:00 PM
• Friday: Noon to 9:00 PM
• Saturday: Noon to 9:00 PM
• Sunday: Noon to 9:00 PM

There is also a Ziggy's location in Fenton, at 132 North Leroy Street.
