Shopping certainly has changed over the years in Michigan.

Before the internet and online shopping took over the world, shopping for birthdays, holidays, and more was way different. Michiganders had to devote serious time and effort to get all of their shopping done. Everything from when to go and which route to take to make sure you could get everything.

Not to sound too old, but I'm old enough to remember what it was like to got shopping before the internet. Sure, day-to-day shopping for necessities hasn't changed all that much, but shopping during the holidays has. Gone are the days of Black Friday shopping madness.

When I was young, elaborate plans had to be carefully constructed and executed to make sure all items were marked off the list for Christmas. Whether that was standing in line for hours before a store opened or assigning certain parts of the list to different people in your group, the battle was real.

Take a Creepy Look Inside Detroit's Now Defunct Fisher Body Plant

Once a vibrant part of Detroit's landscape, the now-defunct Fisher Body plant now lies in ruin.

The plant was once capable of producing more than 350,000 car bodies each year and is credited with milestones like producing the first automobile airbag in 1974.

Since its demise in 1984, nearly every ounce of metal has been lifted from the facility for scrap, and what is left is a dirty, dingy haven for graffiti.

YouTuber Chosen Won gets credit for the photos, taken from a creepy walkthrough of the plant in September of 2021.
