A Weekend Trip to SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium in Auburn Hills
Last weekend, my daughter and I took a trip to SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium.
If you are looking for something to do in Michigan right now that doesn't include freezing your ass off, pack up the kids and head to SEA LIFE Aquarium inside Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills.
My daughter and I decided we needed something fun to do so we decided to take a trip to Great Lakes Crossing. The SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium was a great escape for us from the everyday routine of doing nothing during COVID. If you have little humans running around, it is definitely worth the trip and it is not terribly expensive.
Once we started our trip through the aquarium, we spent just shy of an hour and a half checking it all out. If you have kids that are impatient and just blast through it, you could be done before you know it. Currently, the entire aquarium is a one-way trip so be sure to take your time at each tank because you are not allowed to backtrack because of the COVID guidelines they have in place.
The aquarium itself is pretty large for being in a mall. We saw fresh and saltwater animals from Bass to sharks while making our way through. There is also a "petting tank" that you and the kids can reach into and touch the wildlife like starfish other things. Unfortunately, some of the "tunnels" that were built for the kids to use have been closed off because of the COVID restrictions.
So if you need to get away from the monotony of life right now, carve out a few hours coming up to take the family to SEA LIFE.
