Does Amazon Deliver in Michigan on Thanksgiving or Christmas?
Thanks to my wife, Amazon is thriving right now and constantly delivering packages, we're talking 24/7. We get so many packages that when people ask if I have any hobbies, I say breaking down Amazon boxes.
If your house is like mine, and it's a regular stop on their daily route, you might be wondering whether your packages will be delivered on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Do Amazon Drivers Actually Deliver on Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Let's just say you should probably plan accordingly around these two holidays.
Amazon does not deliver in Michigan on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Not a chance. Those two days are treated like actual holidays for delivery drivers, meaning no regular Amazon vans, no Amazon DSP drivers, no Flex drivers, nothing. Even Amazon’s Same Day Delivery is officially unavailable on both holidays.
So if you’re sitting there thinking a last-minute package is magically going to show up before dinner on Thanksgiving or right as the kids are ripping open presents on Christmas morning, sorry…it’s not happening. You might see vans out the day before or right after, but the holidays themselves are totally off.

While Amazon only fully stops regular delivery on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, there are a handful of other holidays where things can slow down or shift depending on your local delivery station. It really varies by area and by which Amazon DSP handles your route.
