Banana Ball’s 2026 World Tour Is Coming to Comerica Park
Well, this is going to be cool as hell. Banana Ball is coming to Detroit next year.
What is Banana Ball?
If you’ve never heard of it, think baseball but way faster, way weirder, and honestly, way more exciting to watch. Don’t get me wrong, I love traditional baseball, but this is just a fun, crazy twist that’s hard not to love.
The rules are completely flipped. Foul balls caught by fans count as outs, bunting isn’t allowed, and players can even steal first base. Each inning is worth one point, no matter how many runs are scored, and the whole game is capped at two hours. It moves quickly, it’s chaotic, and fans absolutely love it.
When is Banana Ball Coming to Detroit?
The 2026 Banana Ball World Tour hits Comerica Park on September 18 and 19. The Firefighters will face off against the Party Animals in what’s guaranteed to be one of the wildest games the park’s ever seen. Seriously.
There are six teams in the league, including the Savannah Bananas, who started this whole thing that’s completely taken over TikTok.
How Do You Get Tickets for Banana Ball at Comerica Park?
If you want to go, tickets aren’t just for sale. You have to actually enter a lottery.
It’s definitely not your typical game at Comerica Park, but it’s probably going to be one of the most entertaining, that's for sure.
