BD’s Mongolian Grill in Flint Closes Its Doors for Good
After many years of service, BD's Mongolian Grill on Miller Road in Flint is permanently closed.
Rumors were circulating on social media this week that one of the area's favorite places to grab a bite might be closing for good. Well, we're here to tell you—the rumors were true.
It's still unclear why the once-popular restaurant shut its doors for good, but it really shouldn't come as a shock, as we've seen this happen with most of Michigan's locations. Earlier this year, BD's Mongolian Grill in Dearborn closed after decades of service. That closure left only three locations in Michigan, and now the Flint location will soon be joining the list of closures.

I'm really going to miss building a heaping pile of food that was way too much for any human to consume.
When is BD's Mongolian Grill Closing for Good?
From what we understand, the restaurant closed its doors for good on Friday night (10/11/24).
It's truly the end of an era in Flint, and many residents will likely agree that BD's Mongolian Grill will be missed. It's always difficult to see a beloved restaurant shut down.
There are only two locations left in Michigan: Sterling Heights and Canton.
BD's Mongolian Barbecue and Grill was established in 1992 by restaurateur Billy Downs in Ferndale.
