Box of Abandoned Puppies Left for Dead in Michigan Field For Days

A crate full of puppies were recently found alone in a vacant Detroit field. There were six puppies, only 8 weeks old just dumped like they were nothing more than garbage.

A lot of times I don't like to talk about these kinds of stories because it truly breaks my heart and pisses me off but at the same time, I think people need to be aware that this crap happens. It makes me sick to think that someone could just walk away from an animal and just leave them for dead.

What makes this particular story even worse is that whoever the scumbag was that did this, left these puppies alone without their mother in a field to basically rot and die.

From what I understand these puppies are in really rough shape, and one may not even survive. That one only weighs 5 pounds but should weigh anywhere from 10-15 pounds by now. I think that kind of indicates these dogs were mistreated prior to being dumped off in the field.

At least there is a little bit of good news. Four of the six dogs that were rescued are doing great and have been placed in foster homes.

The whole point of me writing this is to inform people that they don't have to feel ashamed for not being able to care for their pets. However, you should feel ashamed if you gave up on them and dumped them off to fend for themselves. Don't be a crappy human being, simply call your local animal control.
