Fenton will be home to a new Chipotle Mexican Grill fast-casual restaurant.

This exciting news was shared with me some time ago, and I am happy to provide the details that are currently available.

The first question most people ask is where Genesee County’s newest Chipotle will be located.

The Fenton Chipotle will occupy the former location of 2941 Mediterranean Street Food on Owen Road. Last year, it was announced that Mediterranean Street Food would relocate to Silver Lake Road and reopen in 2026.

Chipotle will be at 3409 Owen Road, in the same plaza as Jersey Mike's, Buff City Soap, Sapphire Nail Bar & Spa, and Baand Wild West Tobacco.

When is Chipotle opening in Fenton?

Online speculation suggests that the new Chipotle in Fenton could open as early as Spring 2026. However, this has not been officially confirmed, and no formal announcement has been made regarding an exact opening date.
