Consumers Energy Sending Additional Employees To Help With Hurricane Irma Clean-Up
Over one hundred Consumers Energy employees are en route to Georgia to help restore power to residents affected by Hurricane Irma. Reports indicate they will be working for Georgia Power.
As of now, the crew(s) are expected to stay in GA for two weeks. Big props to the employees that went. I am not sure if it was mandated or by choice, but it is truly awesome. Are you or anyone you know part of this? If so, let us know. Safe travels to all involved and thank you!
