Recently, a plant worker in Detroit has been diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease. The source of the bacteria that causes the disease is still under investigation. Officials at Fiat Chrysler are currently testing the water sources at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant.

The company is fully cooperating with all the appropriate officials needed, including the health department, to get to the root of the problem. The bacteria that cause this pneumonia in the lungs lives in warm water.

Legionnaires' has also been found in Flint due to the current water crisis.
