As you can imagine, many travelers will attempt to bring some of the strangest things through airport security, including Thanksgiving Day treats. If Grandma makes the best Thanksgiving gravy, she better think twice about trying to sneak past TSA.
Most travelers are well aware of the items that you're not allowed to take through security including liquids, gels, lighters, marijuana, sharp objects, and a number of other common items. While those are some of the most obvious items, there are some that might not be so obvious to some people including Thanksgiving foods.

Food Items That You Can Carry Through a TSA Checkpoint
Baked goods (bread, cookies - homemade or store-bought)
Pies and cakes
Meats: Turkey, chicken, ham, steak (frozen, cooked or uncooked)
Stuffing (cooked, uncooked, or boxed)
Casseroles
Candy
Mac 'n cheese (cooked or the ingredients to cook later)
Fresh fruits and vegetables (from the mainland only)
Solid cheeses
Spices
Creamy cheeses and dips (less than or equal to 3.4 ounces)
You could make life even easier by simply not trying to fly with your Thanksgiving Day dinner.
