Fall Activities at Crystal Mountain Include Scenic Chair Lift Rides
Fall is here and Michigan there is always something cool to do.
Even though the snow hasn't quite fallen enough for the masses to return to the slopes, doesn't mean there isn't stuff to do at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, MI. Throughout October, this popular ski resort is giving you and the family plenty to do. Hope in the car and travel the short three-hour drive and your family will thank you.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the month of October, guests can take a chairlift ride above the trees and check out the fall colors that Michigan has to offer. You don't need a reservation to ride the chairlifts and it will only cost you five bucks to do it. Guests can buy their tickets at the base of Crystal Clipper and children 8 and under are free with paying adults. The best part about the chairlift ride is that once you reach the top, there is a cash bar waiting for you to grab a drink and enjoy the view.
Crystal Mountain is also offering up some more outdoor fun for the family this fall with "Fall Fun Saturdays." On October 17th, 24th, and 31st you and the family can check out the following:
- Bike rentals and disc golf at Mountain Adventure Zone
- Fall mountain bike color tours
- The Alpine Slide
- Pumpkin painting
- Horse-drawn wagon rides
- Outdoor laser tag
- Archery, and more.
I may have to take the family north one of those weekends as this seems pretty cool. I have never stayed their though. If you have, let me know your favorite places to stay in that area. To get more info, click here.
