The new Kroger in Fenton is once again grabbing attention, this time with plans to bring a Dunkin’ Donuts into the store.

The new location will be Dunkin’ Donuts’ second in Fenton, joining the existing store next to Sunoco at 1314 North LeRoy Street.

Offering coffee and treat options inside grocery stores is not new - at least not in Fenton. Both VG’s locations already feature in-store Starbucks cafés.

Kroger shoppers will soon be able to browse the aisles while enjoying espresso, coffee, frozen drinks, tea, donuts, and more.

As for when Fenton’s newest Dunkin’ Donuts will open its doors, that information has not been made available yet. But don’t worry - I will let you know as soon as it does.

I highly doubt that Ben Affleck or any of the Hollywood crew from that Super Bowl ad will be showing up for the grand opening of Fenton’s new Dunkin’ Donuts, but plenty of local fans certainly will.
