Beginning today, Thursday, August 14th, 2025, through Saturday, August 16th, 2025, anyone 17 and under must be off the streets between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

There are a few stipulations.

According to ABC 12, minors are permitted to be out for the following reasons,

  • Chaperoned by an adult
  • Going to or coming from school, work, or an activity.

What areas of Flint fall under the Back to the Bricks curfew?

The designated Back to the Bricks curfew area spans from 5th Avenue down to I-69, and from South Chavez Drive across to Church Street.

The Flint Police Department is not playing. Any minor who is caught violating the designated curfew will be ordered to pay a $250 fine.

Stick to the curfew guidelines, and you won’t run into any problems.

According to Back to the Bricks, the annual event brings over 500,000 people to Gensee County.

Tune-up Parties and Promo Tours generate enthusiasm in advance of the Main Event, which provides a showcase for classic, custom, and collector vehicles of all kinds.

During the week, Flint, birthplace of “America’s Sports Car”, proudly hosts a National Reunion for Corvette aficionados. Music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities add to the festive atmosphere.

Back to the Bricks is widely regarded as one of Genesee County’s premier annual events, drawing excitement from car enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. And the best part, you don’t need to own a classic car to have a great time.

Enjoy!
