Flint Firebirds Collecting Food for the Food Bank on Wednesday
The Flint Firebirds are back in action this Wednesday and are also collecting donations for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
On Wednesday, the Flint Firebirds will be taking on the Saginaw Spirit for game two of the I-75 Divide Cup, presented by Coors Lights. They are looking to pick up win number two as they whooped the Saginaw Spirit in game one with a 4-1 victory back in September. The puck drops at 7 pm on Wednesday night.
The Firebirds are also taking time to collect donations this Wednesday night as well. They are looking for fans to bring five non-perishable food items, which can be dropped off at the Flint Firebirds' merchandise store, The Birds Nest, near the main entrance. All the donations will benefit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Those fans that drop off donations will receive a complimentary Silver Level ticket for the game courtesy of Little Caesars.
