Former Flint Flight Instructor Pleads No Contest to Filming Women in Restroom
A former flight instructor at a Genesee County airport in Flint, Michigan, has pleaded no contest to secretly filming women in the aviation school restroom without their knowledge.
Brenden McConiha, pictured above, recorded the victims at a private hangar at Bishop International Airport. McConhia is facing several felonies, and as you will see in the video below, his victims are concerned that he may only serve one year behind bars.
According to ABC 12, the first year of Brenden McConiha’s sentence will be served in the Genesee County Jail. However, McConiha could face additional time behind bars when Judge Brian Pickell sentences him in February 2026.
How was Brenden McConiha caught?
The victims were made aware that they had been filmed in the airport hangar after McConiha sold a drone to a person in Florida, and the images were found on a SIM card.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for the victims who were present in court when the accused entered a no-contest plea, as well as for their courage and willingness to speak on camera, calling for accountability and for justice to be served.
We will keep you updated in the new year as soon as the official sentencing is released.
