Free Outdoor Movies Return to Downtown Flint for Summer 2026

Free outdoor movies are returning to Flint for summer 2026. This unique event brings the community together and gives families the opportunity to enjoy movies at no cost.

When are the Movies Under the Stars?

Movies and dates are as follows,

Zootopia 2: Friday, July 3rd, 2026
Lilo & Stitch: Friday, July 24th, 2026
GOAT: Friday, August 28th, 2026

All movies are shown on the back lawn of Flint City Hall at 1101 South Saginaw Street. According to MLive, guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Feel free to bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the movies. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. with games and free light snacks, available while supplies last. The movie begins at dusk.

Be sure to save these dates so you and your family don't miss out on the fun. Free events can be few and far between, so the fact that these movie nights are happening in downtown Flint is really cool.
