Flint Rapper Babyfxce E Gives Kids $20K Fishing Experience
We all love a feel-good story out of Flint, and this one’s definitely worth talking about.
Local rapper Babyfxce E just gave foster kids an awesome experience that they’ll never forget. Instead of just cutting a check, he dropped $20,000 worth of fishing gear and then actually spent the day showing the kids how to use it.
For a lot of these kids, it was their first time holding a fishing pole. Stop and think about that for a second. Something that was a normal part of growing up for many Michiganders is something these kids had never even come close to…until now.
It was a little rainy, but that didn’t slow them down. The kids were out there casting lines, reeling them in, and learning the ropes with some help from Babyfxce E himself.
According to ABC 12, the whole point of the event was to give these kids something positive to try and show them there are better ways to spend their time. Sometimes all it takes is one new experience to spark a passion or keep someone headed in the right direction.

What makes it even cooler is that Babyfxce E didn’t just make a donation and dip out. He was right there in the mix, fishing alongside the kids and taking time to connect. That kind of hands-on effort goes a long way, especially in Flint.
At the end of the day, it’s a reminder that giving back doesn’t have to be super complicated. Sometimes all it takes is a fishing pole, some patience, and someone willing to show up. And hey, that $20,000 donation definitely didn’t hurt either.
