Police have arrested a suspect in Flint after a bank robbery that occurred yesterday.

According to reports, police have a suspect in custody after responding to the report of the robbery. The incident took place around 3 pm on Wednesday, January 22nd at the Chase Bank on 5312 Corunna Road. A man walked into the bank wearing a tan jacket, blue jeans, a dark baseball hat, and a gray hoodie pulled over his head. The bearded man then passed a note to the employees demanding money, to which the teller then gave him.

After receiving the money, the man left the scene inside a dark blue GMC Yukon. Police say at least two other people were in the Yukon with him. After some investigation, the Flint Township Police were able to locate and arrest the man. He is now being held in the Genesee County Jail.

Flint Township Police worked alongside the Michigan State Police and the FBI during the investigation.  If anyone has any information about the robbery, they are asked to contact Detective Lacey Lopez of the Flint Township Police at 810-600-3250.
