If you've been to the grocery store lately, you know just how out of control the cost of food is right now. It is insane, and because of that, a lot of families in Genesee County simply can't afford to host the holiday this year.

Between rising food prices, higher utility bills, and just trying to keep up with everyday life, putting a full Thanksgiving dinner on the table is just not an option for so many families.

That is why one local business and its partners are stepping up in a big way this Saturday. They are giving away 100 full Thanksgiving dinners to families who need a little help making the holiday happen this year.

Where to Get a Free Thanksgiving Dinner in Genesee County This Saturday

This Saturday, starting at 12 pm, 100 free Thanksgiving boxed dinners will be given away at Shears Hair Salon in Mt Morris.

Each box serves 10 people, so when you think about it, that is 1,000 meals being given away to families who could really use the help right now.

How Do You Get a Free Thanksgiving Dinner at Shears Hair Salon?

There are no requirements, no signups, and no hoops to jump through. It is simply first-come first first-served, with one dinner box per household. If your family needs a Thanksgiving meal this year, you can just show up and grab a box while they last.

The Thanksgiving dinners are being provided by LaBrie Real Estate Group, Premier Properties, Legacy Mortgage, and Shears Salon.
