Grand Blanc to Get Another New Retail and Residential Building
Looks like we will see some more new life coming to Grand Blanc, MI.
Grand Blanc residents will see another construction project coming to the area. A new mixed-use building just received an award worth almost $5 million on September 7th, 2022. The new project will be built near Physicians Park on Reid Road in downtown Grand Blanc.
So far known as "The Garden Building" is slated to be a 30,000-square foot building with a little bit of everything inside it. The building will have space for retail businesses, a full-service restaurant, office space, meeting rooms, areas for entertainment and events, as well as residential living units. This new project is said to become a European-style Biergarten for all seasons. Even though it will be built as a single structure, the project will look like three different buildings. The new building could bring about 75 jobs to downtown Grand Blanc over the next two years.
This new project just adds to the revitalization of Grand Blanc. The Grand Blanc Marketplace is currently under construction and will turn the old Farmer Jack and Kmart buildings into more new retail options. That project includes the arrival of an Amazon Fresh store, Jersey Mike's sub shop, Panda Express, and more.
As a Grand Blanc resident, all of these new projects make me very happy. Having so many options will be amazing for students, families, and residents alike. More jobs, more options, more revenue, and the list goes on. I can't wait to see all of these projects completed.
