Guy Carrying Weed Arrested After Petting Police Dog

What a dope!  A New York man carrying a bag of marijuana was arrested for actually petting a police dog.  Hello, drug sniffing dogs smell people with drugs!

Kelly Simpson approached the dog, and began to pet the K-9 German Shepard named Tarah. Well ol' Tarah did not miss a beat and did whatever she was trained to do.  She alerted her handling officer that Simpson, 48 had drugs on his person.

The Daily Mail reports that Simpson was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and released with only an appearance ticket.  He should also be charged with stupidity.
