Nominate a Family for the 2025 Holiday Break-In

Each year around the holidays, we take a break from our usual antics for one day to do something that truly matters. The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show and Banana 101.5 team up to help out a Genesee County family in need with our annual Holiday Break-In.

Unfortunately, a lot of people right here in Genesee County are struggling to provide for their families this holiday season. That’s where you come in. We’re asking you—our listeners—to nominate a family who could really use a little help this year. Once the nominations are in, we’ll go through every single one and choose the family (or families) we can help the most.

Nominate a Family for The Holiday Break-In

If the family you nominate is selected, you’ll become our “accomplice” for this year’s Holiday Break In. That means you’ll help us every step of the way, from shopping for the family to figuring out how to get them out of the house and being part of the big moment when we make the magic happen.

On the Day of the Break-In
The Banana 101.5 crew, with the help of a locksmith, will literally break into the recipient’s home and leave behind everything they need for an unforgettable holiday. Food, decorations, gifts, and more.

No notes will be left. There won’t be any cameras, reporters, or big announcements. It’s completely anonymous.

Nominate a Family for The Holiday Break-In

If you know a Genesee County family who could really use a little help this holiday season, nominate them here. Be sure to include as many details as possible, such as how many kids they have and their ages, the parents’ work hours, and anything else that helps us understand their situation.

All we ask is that you don’t nominate yourself or anyone you live with, since it’s meant to be a surprise for the family. And please keep it a secret from whoever you nominate. That’s what makes it so special.
