I-75 Is Shifting Traffic In Saginaw Starting Today
The Michigan Department Of Transportation is looking for ways to annoy you during your morning commute by shifting traffic around to finish the huge $2.4 million dollar project.
Details are also stating that traffic up north will be shifted as well to prepare for future construction. We all complain about how bad the roads are here in Michigan, but none of us wanna deal with the closed lanes that come from the construction.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin shifting traffic in the Saginaw County work zone Wednesday, Aug. 25.
Throughout the day crews will realign traffic control barriers to begin moving southbound I-75 traffic onto the southbound roadbed.
This work is part of an overall $61.5 million investment to rebuild 2.4 miles of I-75 from Hess Avenue to I-675, including the I-75/M-46 interchange, and replace the M-46 bridge over I-75 and the LSRC Railroad. Source:NBC25.com

It's something none of us wanna experience but it's a necessary process to get these roads to a comfortable state.
