When Does Construction on I-75 in Genesee County Start?

The Michigan Department of Transportation will start the next round of I-75 repairs on Tuesday, August 12. This $700,000 project will focus on pavement joint and crack repairs between US-23 and Court Street in Genesee County.

There’s some good news and bad news when it comes to this upcoming project.

Bad news first: the construction won’t wrap up until late September, so it's going to be hanging around for a while.

The good news? It’s a nighttime project, so it shouldn’t impact most drivers during the day.

Crews will be working from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, with two lanes closed in each direction on I-75 throughout the work zone.
