If you are a fan of hot-air balloons, head to Kalamazoo this weekend.

With summer winding down, Michiganders are looking to cram in as much as they can before the fall. This weekend, the Kalamazoo Balloon Fest will return to Gull Meadow Farms.

Just last week I happened to look out my front window to see something pretty cool. Not more than 150 yards away was a hot-air balloon flying really low through my neighborhood. It was really cool to see it just silently creeping through the air. My daughter and I even thought it was about to land it was so low. I forgot how big those things actually are until your really close to one.
