Kearsley High School On Lockdown Due to Bomb Threat

Kearsley High School is on lockdown right now after school officials received a hand-written note containing the threat today at around noon.

According to WNEM, bomb sniffing dogs are on the scene as well as local police agencies and Michigan State Police. All students are reported safe at this time. The school is located at 4302 Underhill Dr. in Genesee Township If you have any information on this, you are asked to contact the proper authorities.

Update: The school was given the "all clear." The students will remain at school and classes will resume as usual.
