MI Man Charged After Walking Through Kroger With Loaded Rifle
A Detroit man was recently charged with felonies after he thought it would be a good idea to walk around a Kroger in Royal Oak with a loaded rifle.
According to MLive, when police arrived on the scene, several bystanders pointed out the suspect, 40-year-old Touri Goodwin of Detroit. The suspect was inside his vehicle with a short-barreled rifle slung around his neck.
Apparently, he was also carrying a handgun which was concealed on his hip. Now before you start jumping up and down saying it was his right to carry that gun, I say you're right. However, this moron didn't have a concealed pistol license.
He was arrested and both guns were seized.
On Monday he was arraigned on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of felony firearm second offense.
I really wish I knew what his intentions were while pulling a stupid stunt like this? Was he walking around just trying to scare and intimidate people or did he have a far more evil plan? Maybe he walked around the store contemplating what he would do?
I'm glad he did nothing and no one was hurt.
I"m not sure how I would react if I came face to face with a guy carrying a rifle while walking around a grocery store. I hope I never have to find out.
