She couldn't understand why they'd write "God Bless" but refuse to put a cross on the cake. 

Brandi Dypka went to the Sam's Club in Southgate, MI to get a cake for her sons dedication at church. According to FOX 2, the employee taking her order said they don't do religious crosses and refused to sell her a cross that was available in their catalog.

Dypka also said that when she wrote to corporate about her situation, part of the response was "If you don't like the cake, don't purchase it." Eventually, they agreed to make her cake, and a spokesperson from Sam's Club issued a statement on the situation which included an apology to Dypka.
